Water covers roughly 40% of Seminole County, from lakes and rivers to the springs that make our community Florida’s Natural choice. On Thursday, October 16, Seminole County joins the national Imagine a Day Without Water campaign to highlight how essential water is and why it’s so important to protect it.

At Seminole County Libraries, children can check out water-themed books on display, learn fun facts, and color their favorite way to use water for a special sticker. The activity helps raise awareness about the value of water, and children’s artwork will be displayed at all library branches for the community to enjoy.
