Rolling Hills Community Park Project Moves Forward


Seminole County held a groundbreaking ceremony on April 11, for Phase I of the Rolling Hills Community Park & Roadway Improvements Project in Longwood, marking an exciting milestone for the community. County Commissioners were joined by the County Manager, Parks & Recreation staff, Public Works staff, project team members, and community members to recognize the start of this transformative project. 

County officials, staff, and community members participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for the Rolling Hills Community Park project in Longwood.

Phase I will convert the former Rolling Hills Golf Course into a vibrant public park and include roadway improvements along North Street. The project is funded in part by the County’s One Cent Infrastructure Sales Tax, commonly known as the Penny Sales Tax.
